Details: The new “Flipwhip” is the top model and the new premium stunt scooter from the famous Schildkröt Brand. Constructed from the best material for top performance in all the most extreme, hard tricks and stunts. Featuring a deck of hardened, high-quality 6061-aluminum in premium triple box construction, the scooter is very torsion-resistant and robust. The trendy graphic grip tape makes the deck ultra non-slip and provides a very stable and secure position for all tricks. The deck is slightly bevelled on the underside of the deck – it has ‘grind edges’ (for sliding on it = grind). The wide 54 cm and 85 cm high, reinforced BMX style Y-handlebar is made from the best chromoly (= chromium-molybdenum steel, an expensive and extremely durable steel alloy). The fork is made of shatterproof steel for maximum stability; The fork also has optically very sophisticated CNC milling. The steering tube and fork are connected with a quadruple clamp with four Allen screws – the matching Allen keys are included. The high-quality and comfortable TPR handles always ensure a secure hold and provide great shock absorption. Installed is a premium HIC Compression Headset (Hidden Internal Compression – high-quality, jitter-free connection between handlebar and deck). Also visually eye-catching is the round CNC cut-out on the headtube, and also the connection between handlebar and deck. The handlebar is 360 degrees rotatable for all tricks and stunts. The handlebar height is 85 cm (measured from the ground) and, as always with stunt scooters, it is not height adjustable. On the rear wheel, the Schildkröt Flipwhip has a sturdy brake made of abrasion-resistant steel for quick and safe braking of the scooter. The flipwhip is factory-equipped with slightly larger 110mm rolls of premium Hi-Rebound PU (nice grip, hardness 88A). These wheels are mounted on anodized aluminum rims, which can also suppress rough impacts and jumps. Smooth premium ABEC9 bearings make the flipwhip perfect. The Schildkröt Flipwhip comes pre-assembled in a box aside from the handlebars which are easily screwed on with the included Allen key.
