Robotic Cleaner Specification and Compatibility Database

Use this database to compare accepted robotic pool cleaner records without turning unknown specifications into compatibility claims. Every result links to its evidence, states its recorded limitations and verification date, and separates the model record from any current Hydropolis product relationship.

Evidence

Recorded limitations

  • EcoSurfer S2 is a water-surface skimmer and does not vacuum floors, walls, or the submerged waterline.
  • The official page says “any pool” and illustrates regular, irregular, and attached-spa layouts but does not publish a numeric size limit or structured in-ground/above-ground classification.
  • The built-in chlorine dispenser is a hardware feature only; this record does not provide dosing guidance.

Evidence

Recorded limitations

  • The current official page does not publish a numeric maximum pool size or exact runtime, so neither is inferred.
  • The product is placed in Aiper’s in-ground cleaner group; above-ground suitability is not asserted.

Evidence

Recorded limitations

  • The current official page does not publish maximum pool size, run time, charge time, compatible surfaces, or a model code. Those fields remain intentionally unset.
  • The official page expressly supports complete floor coverage and horizontal waterline cleaning, but does not make an explicit wall-cleaning claim in the accessible specification text. Wall coverage is therefore not asserted.

Evidence

Recorded limitations

  • The official comparison table lists obstacle avoidance but not pool mapping, debris detection, or anti-fall capability for Scuba X1.
  • The mapped catalog item is a prior revision and has only one image. It must remain suppressed until its exact revision is tied to an authoritative manual or product identifier.

Evidence

Recorded limitations

  • The governed source states a maximum pool-bottom area rather than a maximum linear pool length; no length is inferred.
  • The source supports all pool shapes, but this record does not infer a construction class or surface material that is not explicit in the reviewed specification.
Beatbot Beatbot AquaSense 2 Pro Residential robotic cleaner Verified current specification record Verified July 29, 2026 Current complete-equipment product: Beatbot AquaSense 2 Pro Robotic Pool Cleaner, Dark Green

Evidence

Recorded limitations

  • App remote control is available only while the cleaner is on the water surface, not underwater.
  • The manufacturer notes that pool mapping may fail where the pool bottom and wall meet in a curved transition.
  • Baja shelf and step cleaning requires more than 0.4 m water depth and enough width for the cleaner. The clarifying-agent kit is sold separately.
Beatbot Beatbot AquaSense 2 Ultra Residential robotic cleaner Verified current specification record Verified July 29, 2026 No confirmed complete-equipment product relationship.

Evidence

Recorded limitations

  • App remote control is not available underwater; remote operation applies at the water surface.
  • Platform cleaning requires at least 35 cm of water depth. Saltwater use is limited by the manufacturer to salinity below 5000 ppm.
  • The official comparison table recommends a 360 m2 (3875 sq ft) pool-bottom area, while the FAQ states up to 320 m2 (3444 sq ft) in a single cycle. Both values are retained with distinct semantics; automated single-cycle matching must use the conservative 3444 sq ft value.
Beatbot Beatbot AquaSense X Residential robotic cleaner Verified current specification record Verified July 29, 2026 Current complete-equipment product: Beatbot Aquasense X Robotic Pool Cleaner, Onyx Black

Evidence

Recorded limitations

  • The AstroRinse station requires flat, ventilated placement near water, drain, power, and strong Wi-Fi; it should not be placed in direct sun, high heat, or high humidity.
  • Elevated-platform cleaning requires at least 14 inches of water and a platform at least 3.3 by 3.3 feet.
  • Saltwater use is limited to 5,000 ppm.
Beatbot Beatbot iSkim Robotic pool skimmer Verified record with a source conflict Verified July 29, 2026 Current complete-equipment product: Beatbot iSkim Navy Blue Cordless Pool Surface Skimmer

Core compatibility confidence
High

Evidence

Recorded limitations

  • iSkim is a floating surface skimmer; it does not vacuum the pool floor, climb walls, or scrub the submerged waterline.
  • Beatbot pages reviewed for this model conflict between two-year and three-year warranty statements, so no warranty value is normalized.
Beatbot Beatbot iSkim Ultra Robotic pool skimmer Verified current specification record Verified July 29, 2026 Current complete-equipment product: Beatbot iSkim Ultra Robotic Pool Skimmer, Navy Blue

Evidence

Recorded limitations

  • Salt concentration must not exceed 5,000 ppm and chlorine must not exceed 4 ppm.
  • Infinity pools prevent normal pool scanning and edge cleaning; the robot falls back to DeepSense cleaning instead of the planned S-path.
  • iSkim Ultra cleans floating surface debris; it is not a substitute for a floor/wall robotic vacuum.
Beatbot Beatbot Sora 10 Residential robotic cleaner Verified record with a source conflict Verified July 29, 2026 No confirmed complete-equipment product relationship.

Evidence

Recorded limitations

  • The official page conflicts on maximum floor coverage: marketing copy states 3,229 sq ft while the technical specification states 3,299 sq ft. No maximum-area compatibility edge is normalized.
  • The same official page describes shallow cleaning as 12 inches in marketing copy and 13.8 inches in the detailed specification. No minimum-depth edge is normalized.
  • Saltwater use is limited to concentrations below 5,000 ppm, and the Sora 10 does not clean the water surface.
Beatbot Beatbot Sora 70 Residential robotic cleaner Verified current specification record Verified July 29, 2026 Current complete-equipment product: Beatbot Sora 70 Pool Vacuum Robot, Lavender Purple

Evidence

Recorded limitations

  • App remote control and mode switching are available only while the robot is on the water surface.
  • Step and platform cleaning requires water depth greater than 0.7 ft and minimum length and width of 3.3 ft; saltwater use is limited to concentrations below 5,000 ppm.

What each filter means

FilterWhat must be recordedWhat remains unknown
BrandThe exact governed brand attached to the public model record.A related manufacturer or private-label relationship is not assumed to be the same brand.
Pool classA confirmed in-ground or above-ground compatibility assertion. An omitted class is not treated as compatible.
Pool lengthA normalized maximum length at least as large as the length entered.A missing maximum does not mean unlimited pool size.
CoverageEvery requested zone—floor, walls, and waterline as selected—must appear in the accepted specification.Steps, benches, ledges, drains, and unusual transitions still require exact-model review.
Power and appThe exact model record must state corded or cordless power and, when filtered, a confirmed app-control value. An unknown app field does not become “no,” and a family-level feature is not copied to every model.
Record status and confidenceThe selected publication status and the weakest confirmed core compatibility confidence must match.A high confidence label describes source support for the recorded claims, not cleaning quality or durability.
Filtering method: robotic-cleaner-database-v1. The same accepted evidence and filter values produce the same ordering.

Model evidence and current products are different records

The specification database is built from accepted public model posts and the normalized Hydropolis Lab evidence tables. A product link appears only when the exact model has a confirmed Tier A complete-equipment relationship and the WooCommerce product is currently published, visible, purchasable, in stock, positively priced, and imaged. The database does not copy price, stock, image, title, or product URL into its evidence record.

If there is no eligible product link, the model record can still be useful for identity, manual, parts, or discontinued-equipment research. A missing link does not change the stored technical evidence.

How to use a result responsibly

  1. Start with the record status. A partial, discontinued, or source-conflict record has a different decision boundary from a verified current record.
  2. Read the exact pool fit. Check pool class, maximum length, and recorded coverage against your pool rather than relying on a family name.
  3. Open the evidence. Manufacturer pages, manuals, sell sheets, and parts catalogs support the claims shown in the model profile.
  4. Read every limitation. Unknown geometry, a source conflict, or a model-specific exclusion can matter more than a long feature list.
  5. Recheck the exact manual before purchase or installation. Electrical placement, retrieval, charging, drain covers, steps, and ledges can require details beyond a specification table.

Continue from comparison to diagnosis

Use the robotic pool cleaner finder when you want a short list based on a specific pool and current eligible Hydropolis products. Compare the ownership tradeoffs in corded vs cordless robotic cleaners and the coverage boundaries in floor-only vs wall-and-waterline cleaners.

If an existing cleaner is missing walls or getting caught, follow the diagnostic sequence in robotic cleaner will not climb walls or robotic cleaner gets stuck on drains or steps. For exact source ledgers and complete profiles, browse the equipment library.

Refresh, indexing, and limitations

  • The clean database page is public and cache-compatible. Filter and pagination URLs are deterministic, canonicalize to the clean page, and are noindexed to avoid duplicate search results.
  • No filter answer is saved, and the public runtime makes no external evidence request. It reads the accepted local model graph.
  • Current product eligibility is checked through WooCommerce only when a confirmed complete-equipment relationship exists.
  • Hydropolis has not physically tested these cleaners. Compatibility confidence describes evidence quality for recorded core claims; it is not a review score, laboratory result, or performance guarantee.
  • Filtered results are bounded and paginated. The full source ledger remains on each linked model profile.
